On March 31, in Boynton Beach in southeast Florida, Lina Boudreau invited about sixty guests to a musical happy hour to celebrate the release of her new album, Ciel rouge.
Le Soleil de la Floride had the honor of being invited to the event, and it was in a friendly atmosphere of cocktails and music that Lina Boudreau shared the songs from her new album with her guests, along with the stories behind their creation. She was accompanied by exceptional musicians: Olivier Gadet, producer and guitarist; Valérie Pichon, violinist and backing vocals; and Armand Dionne, pianist and backing vocals.
Accompanied by these three artists, the talented Lina Boudreau performed the album’s 11 songs, which were very well received by the audience. The trio also treated her to a performance of an Irish medley that isn’t on the album but which they perform together in concert.

Recording
Lina notes that Ciel rouge was recorded in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick (NB). The first launch will take place in NB in Dieppe, near Moncton. Lina will open for Zachary Richard in Dieppe, N.B., and on Prince Edward Island in June, and will perform the national anthems during France’s National Day at the Lefebvre Monument in Memramcook, N.B.
