To mark the occasion, the Consulate General of Canada in Miami gathered around 30 guests on Wednesday, June 25th, to celebrate Canada Day in the prestigious Coconut Grove neighbourhood of Miami. Le Soleil de la Floride was among the guests.
The event was held at Level 6 « not only for its breathtaking views, but also because it is a Canadian investment », said Sylvia Cesaratto, Consul General of Canada in Miami.
Those in attendance celebrated Canadian pride in a friendly atmosphere, and Ms Cesaratto delivered a diplomatic and realistic speech highlighting Canada’s values.
The event was supported by Air Canada, one of the sponsors.
