The Miami Dolphins have decided to part ways with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who played with them for five and a half seasons, resulting in a salary loss of $99 million, the largest in NFL history. But the Dolphins believe it was the best solution for the future.
For his part, what Trump believes to be the best solution for the future of the United States, attacking Iran, is clearly expensive. A bipartisan think tank estimates the cost at approximately $891 million per day for the first four days of the attack, for a total of $3.7 billion. But let’s say that’s nothing compared to the lives lost because of the war. It’s really very, very expensive, because they are priceless!
The harmful results of the war and rising prices are costing Trump popularity, and he has fallen in the polls. According to a new national poll conducted by NBC News, voters give Trump a poor rating for his handling of immigration after his administration deployed federal agents to American cities and immigration agents in Minnesota killed two American citizens in January. They disapprove of his tariffs after the Supreme Court invalidated his main tariff program in February and Trump then reimposed some of those taxes. This will cost his administration dearly, while in the meantime, retailers and consumers are already paying the price themselves! And those surveyed do not appreciate his actions toward Iran, with the United States now at war with that country after Trump ordered strikes that, according to the majority, should not have taken place. A war that is costly in every way.
