INVITATION: CANADIAN DRESSAGE TEAM FUNDRAISER – 2026

Date:

The world’s best riders train in Wellington, Palm Beach County, and among them are Canadian athletes. Since funding is crucial to the athletes’ success, the Canadian dressage team riders invite you to support them as they prepare to compete in the 2026 World Championships.

Don’t miss this event on Sunday, March 22, when the Canadian dressage community will gather at The Stallion (11630 Polo Club Rd, Wellington). An unforgettable evening of celebration, entertainment, and mobilization awaits you! Join more than 200 guests, including many of Canada’s top riders and numerous Olympians!

“This exceptional event will launch our campaign to raise CA$250,000 to send the Canadian Dressage Team to the 2026 World Championships in Aachen, Germany,” according to the press release sent to us. “This fundraiser is entirely dedicated to supporting the team’s journey to Aachen. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping our athletes represent Canada on the international stage.”

According to the press release and team members we had the opportunity to speak with:  » The evening promises to be as captivating as it is meaningful, with a piano duel, a dynamic silent auction, interactive fundraising activities, and a room filled with the passion and camaraderie that define our sport. It’s an opportunity to bring together the Canadian dressage family, owners, riders, sponsors, and supporters around a common goal—to help make dreams come true. «

For the team, a cornerstone of the campaign is the $500 Club, an ambitious initiative to mobilize 300 donors to contribute $500 each, raising $150,000 of the total $250,000 goal. It’s important to note that transporting a horse by plane to Europe, for example, costs $25,000 alone, according to Canadian equestrian Camille Carier Bergeron. That’s not counting all the other expenses related to the sport and everything that goes with it. By joining the $500 Club, donors become an essential part of the TEAM behind the team, demonstrating the collective strength of the equestrian community, “and the power of unity to accomplish something extraordinary.”

The team is waiting for you in large numbers!

“Join us. Celebrate with us. Be part of the TEAM that makes dreams possible.”
